Speaking of guide, I was putting one together for myself to reference the scenerios. My "sorting" category was mission type. This way I could find missions which were escort varients, duel varients, chase varients, etc.
My charts was setup similar to the MSC where I had races involves, location ...

The speed of the tug doesn't really bother me as the Klingons can still win by points if they can't slow it down enough.
However, capture of the Tug is very difficult if it is able to use EM and thus leads to the klingons only being able to win by victory points. So the one change I'd like to use ...

Being a Romulan player, I very much enjoy the idea of hide and seek. SFB has it to a certain extent but for the most part, everyone can find you. Fed Commander it's even more non-existant.

Variable sensor strengths for a scenerio
I'm messing around with a scenerio that I'm trying to create. I'm trying to find some SFB rules on sensor strengths to port over to FedCom for this scenerio. Unfortuantely I'm having a tough time finding my rulebooks (I think they are packed up in a box somewhere).
Here's the setup of the scenerio ...

... imo, the increase in ship speeds is the single most important change in Fed Com for plasma users to take into account. The ability of a ship to move at speed 32 (24+1) at will makes it much more difficult for torpedoes to hit at full or close to full damage unless you manage to somehow trick ...

The F5 can win, but it takes patience because 10 turns is a long, long time. First off, it should never get into any sort of fight with the CA... it's outgunned. If the CA charges the Klingon, he should take the opportunity to pull the Fed away from the asteroid. If the CA returns to the asteroid to ...

I've found a number of scenerios which give a recommended map size and the starting positions are outside of the map . Most times they are location maps which can flot about a spot and we just extend a bit out. But on a fixed map... yeah I don't know what's up with that.
