Die Roll modifiers

2D4 - Evasive Maneuvering - +2 added to die rolls, any modified rollgreater than 6 is treated as a 6.

4A4 - Die Roll Modifiers - If the modified die roll is greater than 6, move to next column for phasers and treat as a miss for "hit and miss" weapons.

Which of these rules is correct?

4A4 is correct.

If the target is using EM, and you roll a '5', treat is as a '6' on the next column to the right.

So that means that a Disrupter, rolling a 5 against an EM ship, would then if applying 4A4, miss?

Yes, that is what it means.

(4A4) overrides and handles all of the the die roll modifier effects, including Orion Stealth, EM, nebulas, and shifts due to asteroids.
