Federation & Empire ISC War Chart Book Now Available in PDF

Keep the peace!
Or else!

-- The Inter-Stellar Concordium

At the end of the General War came the ISC War. The Inter-Stellar Concordium concluded that the rest of the Alpha Octant was criminally insane and had to be protected from their own dangerous ideas and violent impulses.

The chart book includes:
Three (different) ISC Fleet Charts.
One ISC Capital Chart.
ISC Depot Repair Track Chart (with other charts).
One ISC Battle Board.
One Standard Battle Board.
One Economics Form.

This chart book is designed to accompany the ISC War Rulebook. You must have that expansion to use these charts.

Federation & Empire: Combined Operations 2021 Available

Marines and Prime Teams and Combat!

Combined Operations has more rules for Federation & Empire. It is newly improved and updated, having gone through extensive review and discussion during Stratcon 2021. All rules questions from ADB, Inc.'s BBS and Captain's Log issues have been addressed to provide the best experience for every empire.

This product includes many new concepts (stasis field generators, electronic warfare, light tactical transports, monitors, special units, and Marines), which enhance play value by providing players with new ways to destroy their enemies. New economic factors include commercial convoys, base stations, and PF storage depots. You can take the fight to the planet with ground combat, including special attack forces. Prime teams can help in combat or aid in capturing a ship, along with other abilities.

And there are scenarios galore! Koval's Lightning has Klingons and the Federation facing off; Thunder over Kzintai has Kzintis, Lyrans, and Klingons; The Hydran Expedition has Hydrans trying to get to Federation territory without being stopped by the Klingons; The Wayward Wind explores what would have happened if the Coalition had attacked the Hydrans first, rather than the Kzintis; Reptilicon Revenged has Romulans and Gorns; Cold Front can be used as a training scenario with the experienced player commanding the Hydrans and newer players commanding the Coalition; Tholian Gambit has the Klingons facing the Tholians; The Late Kingdom explores what would have happened if the Hydrans had to start the General War by reconquering their territory.

You will need the Federation & Empire 2010 Rulebook and various countersheets to use this expansion.

You can download the Combined Operations Rulebook from these sources:

Federation & Empire: Strategic Operations 2022 Available

You Are Going to Need a Whole New Strategy!

Newly updated in 2022, Strategic Operations, an expansion for Federation & Empire, is all about new strategies and new capabilities. Expand your campaign with these new ships, rules, and systems.

Try out these new strategies! Diplomatic teams make treaties, create trade agreements, and maybe avert war. Engineers hasten construction. Survey ships allow you to search for interesting worlds and exploit their riches.

New ship types include those survey ships; small transports to move admirals, diplomats, and prime teams; hospital ships to help devastated planets recover and wounded people heal; sector bases, which are larger than battle stations but smaller than starbases; operational bases, which are mobile bases that can move after being set up; theater transports, which can move tug pods without tying up a valuable tug or light tactical transport; and special mission ships, including small transports, armed web tenders, more Klingon penal ships, variants of the Federation FFB and Klingon F6, more Romulan Kestrels, war dreadnoughts, and more.

Heavily revised in 2022, Rule 549 Auxiliaries and 550 Rule Unbreakable Groups update earlier editions.

Want to try out a new scenario? The huge scenario Maelstrom (675) covers a tumultuous period in the late General War when the front line swung back and forth, and neither side could afford to lose. The scenario is divided into six sectors to allow you to play as big a game as you wish. Will the Alliance assume the offensive and drive the Coalition out of the Alliance's territory? Or will the Coalition dig in and derail any alliance attempt at a counter-offensive?

You will need the Federation & Empire 2010 Rulebook and various countersheets to use this expansion.

You can download the Strategic Operations Rulebook from these sources:

DriveThru RPG: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/407149/

It is available as a complete expansion (including the rulebook and three sheets of double-sided counters) from either your local game store or direct from ADB: https://www.starfleetstore.com/expansio ... p-464.html

Be sure you get the 13 Dec edition, not the 12 Dec edition.

Also, the back cover was changed by Jean from "strategery" (a joke about President Bush) to "strategy" which is more correct but less funny.
