Do you mean the brown Chlorophons? Or the Sigs against the blue nebula? ...hmm, I wasn't having luck adding another light source that didn't make the Chloro's look 'fake'....I didn't try lightening up the hulls though...I'll give that a shot and see if it helps.Steve Cole wrote:The Sig is so dark that I would never have found it without your caption.

While there aren't too many other pieces of Alunda art to compare it to, it would seem that the plasma whips are a little on the large side - at least if they are intended to be in "coiled spring" mode.
Although, in fairness, I had thought that the weapon discharge shown emanating from the lead Host ship on the cover of Module Omega 2 was supposed to be from bio-electric bolts - yet the locations being "struck" from seem to equate to plasma whip "mounts" on the SSDs...

This should be a bit brighter...lol, I swear when they render and on my PC they are really visible!

Yeah, right now the whips are a bit thick--sorry I said phaser whips, but they are plasma whips--, I have plans to do a battle scene, probably with Hivers that will be thinner and stretched. When I first saw the SSDs and the description I instantly envisioned that they were physical tentacles (whiskers even) that the Mirn were able to weaponize and charge. So probably a different take than the original design, but I think it looks cool. I also opted to drop the "neck" segment of the creatures. There are two divots on the back side of the head that act as the shuttle bays....perhaps these were converted ear canals.
I have all the ships but the tracker frigate made, just not textured as of yet, but will soon!
