Warehouse 23

Post by Spacecowboy87 »

I know ADB has a backlog of products in development, but does anyone know if there are more ship card packs coming to Warehouse 23? I have nearly everything they offer and would certainly buy more if it were available (i.e. 2nd packs for all the "secondary" empires).

No real reason more can't be done excepting that sales of them didn't move them high enough on my priority list. If other uses for my time produce more revenue, those other things go first. I don't have time to do every single thing that theoretically could be done.

email me when you see the CL50 is shipping and I'll take a few hours to whip up one or two.

Is this a good time to remind you about the possibility of getting new Ships on WH23?

We are planning to do that next month.

The general problem is that packs of existing ships are easy to do but sell very few copies, while packs of new ships take just as much work as a new booster pack but produce only a fraction of the revenue. They just don't pay for my time. (One reason for low sales is people passing around copies and re-uploading them without permission, so every time somebody does that makes it that much less likely that another pack will be uploaded.)

The current theory is to use a mixed of ships including:
the ships from Captain's Log (which are harder to get)
color versions of Communique ships (which some want)
A new ship or two per pack
an existing ship or two per pack.

Don't some of these digital distributors put watermarks on the products with the name of the person who purchased it? That would, in theory, help to dissuade people from the practice. Assuming that some action is taken against those individuals like banning or whatnot from the storefront.

Warehouse 23 doesn't watermark. When we discover a watermarked document in public distribution, we do notify the company that sold it.
