A couple of questions inspired by last night's Feds vs Andros game...
1) If a ship is displaced, are its turn and sideslip modes reset to zero?
2) If a mothership is destroyed, what happens to satellite ships in its hangar?
3) A less likely situation, if a satellite ship inside the mothership's hangar is destroyed (if it was recovered with full panels but too severely damaged to power them on the next turn, perhaps), what happens to the mothership?

We are Hydrans! NO ONE LIKES US!
1) Doesn't appear to. So, no. The turn mode and sideslip mode are unaffected by displacement.
2) They all die.
3) That is an excellent question. I dunno. In SFB, the mothership takes the full brunt of the satellite ship's explosion. But, in Federation Commander, there is no explosion. My initial thought is that the satellite ship is destroyed, but the mothership is unaffected. I'll have to check with Steve on that one.

No rule covers this. I will think about whether or not I want to create one.

Yes, you use all modifiers. Rule (5U3b), fourth paragraph:
"When used against a non-Andromedan unit, the
first step is to determine if the displacement worked
and the second is to determine (if the displacement
was successful) where the target was displaced.
Modifiers (4A4) do apply." [bold type mine]
