Side note on something I just noticed ...

We do NOT know that Andromedan crews were robotic. In fact, we have hints that they were not. Yes, the marine units were robots. However, we have no indication what the actual crew were. They could have been anything.

I don't think it's actually been 'decided' yet anyway. Nobody has ever known, and I reckon Steve hasn't even decided in his own mind what they are (though doubtless he can't comment, and quite right too). That's why it will always remain a mystery
