E-7 please.

D-17 would be fun.

The Starline 2400 E-7 already exists.

The D-17 is going to come out for Starline 2500, at some point in the future.

Well aware of that fact as I own one.

Are you saying because it is a 2400 it will not be a 2500?

Or did I miss something in the thread that states "ships that do not exist as a mini"?

Glad to know the D-17 is marked for production.

This thread pre-dates Starline 2500 by years and is mainly oriented to ADB's Starline 2400 series. The ADB/Mongoose Starline 2500 series has its own sub-forum.

The E-7 is not in the current batch of planned ships for Starline 2500, but drawings were submitted to guide one, when it is done.

Any chance the D4 gets made?

Or an improved D7 to use as a D7C just like the Fed CC?

For older collectors, there's enough different versions of the D7 to use one or another as a CC ----

Doing a D4 would mean doing all of the historically corresponding ships at more or less the same time. I'd be concerned over sales potential.

Wouldn't most people mostly just want D4 v. old Fed CL battles?

But I don't know how well the D4 would sell. I would buy it.

Actually, one of the long-shot hopes I have for the joint venture is that Mongoose eventually consider doing other eras (and settings) in A Call to Arms: Star Fleet; which would then spark a development of these eras in Starline 2500 terms (and, perhaps, make it a little more viable for the Early Years to show up in the 2400s, too?).

As a point of comparison, Mongoose already have two eras in play for they Victory st Sea wet-navy ruleset; one for the Second World War, and an Age of Dreadnoughts spinoff covering the Great War. (And they may end up with a third, if rumours of a pre-dreadnought module are to be believed; though I'm not sure if that is an offical development or not.)

But then, that kind of talk probably won't gain any traction for a few more years at least; there's still plenty of ground to cover in the Main Era of the Alpha Octant before ACtA:SF (and the 2500s) would feel the need to start thinking about going anywhere (or wnywhen) else.
