Hi all,
I had a quick game last night and an interesting question came up. The Feds can prearm there photons before game, at the expence of having charged batteries but i couldnt find a similar rule for people with plasma torps.
Basicaly can Plasma Torpedoes be pre armed at all before a game starts?

Yes, it is in the latest rule book.
Now they have the following choices:
Do nothing, in which case they get the first turn armed, and will start the game paying for the second turn.
Use their batteries and get the second turn prearmed so they start the game paying for the final turn.
Note that you don't lose more batteries than it takes to pay for the second turn (A war eagly only loses 2 batteries to pre arm its Plas R, I don't think this was made clear in the rules either)
