Hurray for ADB

Post by Scoutdad »

Well, I still can't get my pre-ordered Fleet boxes from Mongoose - but ADB came through.

UPS just brought these:
6 squadron boxes!:

and rulebooks and a bonus Federation CC miniature!

Now to prep and paint minis (and build a D6M).

Done. :D

I'm jealous too. Regretting buying from local distributor and not ADB.

Still can't get fleet boxes, but at least I can get some of these painted up and run some demos now.

Cool. But you know you're going to have to post pics of the finished models now :)

Technically, photos of Tony's work on these are already posted. He did most, if not all, the painted SL2500 minis for ADB (and some for Mongoose), using prototype tenneshington decals.

Wow. I clicked the link to see your minis. I get lots of compliments on my minis, but WOW. You're the Eagle, and I'm just a tenderfoot. I'm going to have to raise my game!

Romulans

Post by lb4269 »

Two Romulan squadron boxes? :(

By the time I was told they had to downgrade my fleet boxes to squadron boxes or not ship for many more weeks to come, I was told the Roms squadrons were all gone on the ADB side.

I went weeks thinking I'd be spending a term break off in January painting War Eagles. Now, I'll be lucky if anything at all even comes in time and it won't have any of the ships which had started my order in the first place...

I have Condor envy.
