Hi all,
Do seeking Plama Torpedoes from Romulan Armada do the same damage as plasma bolt ie. 2IMP, 3DMG for each hit?
Thanks,

Not quite.
The rules for them are on page 33 and 34 of the RA rulebook. Basically, each type (R, S, G, F or D) is a treated as a different type of Striker "flight", with a size between 8 and 2. They're mostly like the Drones from KA, but with different stats and an Attack whcih gets weaker the longer they're in flight.
The way they play in RA vs FC is notable. If you're from a FC or SFB background, you'll be used to plasma seekers being more powerful and the direct-fire "bolt" being a bit rubbish by comparison. The RA version evens this out: Bolts are better and Seekers are not as powerful as in FC/SFB. Bolts see a lot more use in our RA games than when we play FC, but the seeker has plenty of tactical uses (it tends to put opponents into a state of disarray and panic).

After reading the rules for the 789th time I think I've got it!
Fighter flights typically roll one die for each fighter in the flight. The flight size is given by the size ratings. While for plasma torpedos the size shows how big the torpedo is I'm fairly certain that you roll a number of dice equal to the size. This would also make it so that plasma torpedos become less effective as they are damaged. The paragraph following the list of types of torpedos (pg 34) supports this. While it is not clear this does make sense and implement a more accurate idea of how SFB/FC plasma works.
Please tell if you agree or not.
