ONE THING TO CONSIDER: It used to be a running joke that there were no 3rd round draft picks playing pro basketball. That's been true about 97% of the time. There is no point in asking to have some ship put on the list unless it's important enough to kick another ship out of the top two spots. I don't see any reason to put ships on the list that won't have a chance of being selected just to make that one player feel good for one day. Be serious. If there is a ship that really needs to be in the top two, I want to hear about it. If it's just "an honor to be nominated" then can we just skip it?

torpedo cruiser
the federation could use some form of torpedo ship. Maybe have a heavy load of front and rear firing photons and then limit it to just ph-3's for beam weapons. this would be a nice combination with some of the faster smallers vessels as escorts.
REPLY BY STEVE COLE: This is a proposal for a new ship, and with so many existing ships not yet published, we don't want to even consider creating new ships for this product. You might want to open a new proposal topic for this design. I do not think that there is any point in limiting it to phaser-3s and I'm not really seeing the point of rear-firing photons which are hard to aim. As for a "heavy load" of torpedoes, the ships of each hull type already have the maximum number they can have.

Well, the more of those Romulan Ketsrels that make the cut, the better. The K7R, KD5WR, and C7R, would all be most welcome, especially the K7R. Also, any addition to the ISC would be a good thing, they don't have nearly enough ships.
Any Gorn ship, especially if it came in around 150 points.
A definite yes to the Klingon F6B

Pinecone, the K7R was not one of the 'original' kestrals, they were KR's converted from D6's. I believe there were only a handful of K7R's ever sent to the Romluans same with the KD5Rs and KD5WRs.
Right now as the Kestrals go you can take the KR (132 pts) which is too strong against another empires light cruiser or a KRC (172 pts) Which is way more expensive then other empires command cruisers. It would be nice to have the KD5R and the K7R as ships that are in between these two values.

Terry,
The Seltorian NCL is the three-fingered DD. It is analogous to the DNL, not the NCA.
As for the ground bases, the point of including ground bases here is that they would get laminated ship cards. If they are included in Briefing #3 (which is what you are talking about), then they are paper ship cards. Unless, of course, Steve decides to do a Ground Attack! (or Commandos Attack!) module, then who knows?

Someone asked (in the wrong topic) about counters. Here is the answer, well, I'll get to the point of answering THAT question before the end.
An attack product includes 40 one-inch and 140 half-inch counters.
Half-inchers are in abundance. So we can easily provide counters for the 16 new ships (and the extra cargo ships) in boosters 31-32-33. We can provide turn/slip markers in "missing" colors and we could provide counters for the E-ships.
One-inch counters are more limited. There are only 40 of them. That would mean that if we included a single one-inch counter for the 16 new ships in boosters 31-32-33 it would limit ReinAtk itself to 24 such counters, and we all want more than 24 new ships.
Now, if Leanna would spring for the $300 to build a new die, we could add 8 or 16 or 24 more one-inchers at the cost of 28 or 56 or 84 of those half inchers. I won't fight that battle anytime soon, maybe next year.
So given the $300 for a new die (which might be available if the Mongoose stuff sells like it might) we could see
40+140
48+112
56+84
64+56 (probably not workable.)
