cool any chance of getting a look at the version of tide of iron that steve wrote or the JagdPanther game?

How close is the new star fleet marine game to these games?

I don't know what Steve's old games were like, but I have seen draft rules for Star Fleet Marines. SFM is simpler than I remember the old Avalon Hill games being. SFM does have a lot of depth to it though, IMO. Chess, Go and Poker are all simple games, but have a lot of depth to them... SFM is like that.

The rules I wrote for Memoir 44 and Tide of Iron (not to mention for that old GDW tank game based on Team Yankee) were done good enough for me and guys at my table ot play. They were not good enough for anyone to play who doesn't have me sitting there to explain them. I don't have time to get them ready to publish.
