Just finished that batch of Battlestar Galactica minis I posted back in November. A lot of fun, and a nice change of pace. I'm hoping to paint some more of these in the next few months, including some fighters and some Cylons. For now, I thought I'd share a few pics...

A lot more photos located here: http://www.jgray-sfb.com/Battlestar/Battlestar.htm. Thanks to Rob Pomroy for the custom decals...they really are a nice touch.

Pretty straightforward actually. After priming, a basecoated in Citadel Boltgun Metal and then painted the red striping and the gold hanger bay decks. I then washed the mini in black ink. I finished up with some sparce drybrushing in Boltgun Metal, particularly where the decals were going to go, painted the engine bells white, and washed the jump drives with blue ink. Then a coat of glosscoat, the decals, and a final glosscoat shot to seal in the decals. To easy really.marcus_aurelius wrote:Very nice!
What colors / techniques did you use to paint the hulls?
I think a similar look would be nice on my Gorn miniatures.
