CRUL: Consolidated Rules Update List
We posted the first CRUL yesterday. Nine pages which lists every rules change/update/ruling/clarification we could find. It's in the Commander's Circle; go take a look.
Then Mike West found another one, a Q&A item that should have generated a clarification line item but didn't:
(5D4c) This procedure is used if a tractor holding an impacted drone is destroyed by a marine raid (5F1), not the procedure in (5D4b). - Mike West 21-10-08
This topic is to be used for the following only:
1. Notice of new CRUL uploads.
2. Anybody finds a previous ruling which got lost.
3. New rulings posted by Mike West or myself.
This is NOT a topic for general rules questions or fishing expeditions, NOR is it a topic to ask about or debate or question or fish for changes to postedd changes. Those go into their own topics as usual.

Thanks for the CRUL.

ADDED TO THE CRUL; A NEW DOCUMENT INCLUDING THESE AND OTHER ITEMS WILL BE POSTED ABOUT 15 NOV.
(5D6b) If a ship attempts to use a tractor beam to push a ship (or anything else) into a planet, the tractor beam is broken. The tractoring ship makes its movement, but the tractored ship (or item) remains in its hex. A tractored ship (or item) may not be pushed into a moon or individual asteroid. (In this case, the tractor is not broken; the tractored ship simply won’t hit the anything as it moves). A tractored ship may be dragged through an asteroid hex and would take the normal asteroid damage for entering the hex at that speed.
(5D6b) A ship may not use a tractor beam to push (or pull) an enemy ship off the "edge" of a fixed map (or past the boundary of a location map) and force it to disengage. If this is attempted, the tractor is immediately broken, and the enemy ship is left in the last hex row of the map (boundary) edge. However, a ship may disengage with a captured or allied ship towed by tractor.
(2D2b) Battleships (including the Seltorian battlewagon) do not get the "safe" High Energy Turn of (2A2a) but must roll under (2A2b) every time.

[Message deleted, as it is in the wrong topic. Rules questions go in rules question topics. The only posts in this topic are official updates and questions about the struture of the CRUL itself. Repost the question in another topic please.]

Since this topic has not been updated since 2008 I wanted to post this:
Rule updates since Reference Rulebook revision 5
Communiques 42, 46, 47 (freely available)
Rules from Hydran Attack (you need to buy the product)
Fighter Playtest rules from Captain's Log 37 (you need to buy the product)
Did I miss any official updates?
Did I miss any playtest rules that were not already updated as official in a new product (like Hydran Attack)?

I have been meaning to take all of the post-RRB rules updates and putting them in here, but RL just hasn't let me yet. Hopefully, I should have the time to do so this weekend.
Note that I was only planning on putting rules updates here. Rules additions are in their respective products. But I do think making a list of "other rules" is a good idea. I will add that, too.

Note that the current post-RRB version of the CRUL has been posted to Commander's Circle.
(This was done at the beginning of December. I just forgot to post this note!)

I'm trying to get back into playing a bit this fall/winter (after being away for awhile).
As such, I was wondering if there is an official CRUL for the Reference Rule Book v6b (my understanding is that is the most current RRB)? I know there have been Q&A in communique, but I haven't been able to locate an official CRUL (so maybe there isn't one or isn't need for one at this time)? I do have the RRB v6b.
Thanks,
Garrett

CRUL
I am looking for the most recent CRUL (Consolidated Rules Update List). The most recent Communique tells me to find it in the Commander's Circle, but I cannot find it there.
Specifically, I am looking for ship card errata (updates), such as the Kzinti NCC.
Thanks,
Matt

There have been surprisingly few items added once V6 was released. I still have to go through all Communiques to see what is there, but the vast majority (outside the rare exceptions like ESG/asteroids) are just questions and answers with no rulings.
For ship-specific items, check the V5 CRUL. We tried to make sure everything known at the time was added to it, so its ship card entries should all still be valid. (Except for the Tholian bases/web thing. That was fixed in V6.)
In summary, it is still something that needs to be combed through and updated, and just hasn't been lately.
