OMG This is *hand-painted*?

Post by djdood »

This gentleman posted these up to starshipmodeler.com last week. From what I can gather, he hand-painted these in the early 1990's.

No decals.

I hang my head in shame. I wish I could paint like that.

U.S.S. Enterprise.

Federation ships.

My god...wow.

I wish I could paint those details.

And the fabrication work on that TOS Miranda and those Klingons is just great.

I wouldn't be able to paint like that on the 18" plastic model, much less a dinky little 3" miniature!!

His Klingons are impressive! I really like the color work on the D-7 and the movie kitbash would make the perfect FD-7.

iams- I with you concerning the battle tug.

Really outstanding work on such small ships.

I like his Klingons a lot, as well. The sharply swept-back "wings" make them look fast, like fighter jets from the 50's .

You and me both. I won't even try to paint the pennants and lettering on my minis because I just know it won't come out to suit me.
