Favorite Race in the Game?

What is your favorite race to use in the game?

In a tournament, I'd probably go with the Feds. However, I really do enjoy the other races as much or more, I just don't really have much experience with them.

1. Klingons
2. Federation
3. Hydran
4. Lyran
5. Romulans

Don't think I've played any of the others. I think this is also almost in order by the number of minis I have for each race.

I admit I am only really familiar with the Alpha Octant. I have only read the Magallanics and have not even read much of Omega. Obviously, I do have an affinity for the Early Years.

Klingons! Probably Gorn for second because of great torpedo arcs and the phaser-1s.

I usually like a couple ships of each race (like the ones with better power curves, good arcs, etc.), but the Klingons are the only race whose ships I like nearly all of.

For Federation Commander, I like the Romulans. From my SFB days, I liked the ISC a lot.

I think my top three Fed Com preferences are as follows:

Lyran
