Well,as I don't have a CVA model yet,I use that as my CVA,though there is nothing stopping you using it as a large AUX-CV if you wanted.
I went for the instantly recognisable look for my carriers,so that they couldn't be confused for anything else.
I like the stats that you produced for the Hydran BS,she's really nasty, and can fight without the need of escorts too,if it came to it. My model seems to suit your interpretation of the BS very well. Thanks.

Well, there was very little doubt that mini was a carrier! I like it.
As for the BS, I'm glad you like the design. Its always been kind of a tongue and cheek ship, made more for fun than anything else.
For those who don't know what we're talking about, here's the original SFB SSD: http://jgray-sfb.com/SSDs/Hydran/battlestar.gif. Mike Raper did something similar and got it published in an issue of Stellar Shadows Journal.

Thank you for posting pictures of all your wonderful creations. I returned to building miniatures about 6 months ago and continue to seek inspiration for my own projects. There's lots of that here!
I see you used plastic sheet and rod to build and modify most of your ships. For the more complex shapes, like the rounded head of the Hydran Battlestar, did you sand a block of plastic or use something else? Did you ever use other materials?
I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Rick, the ship you circled is a pirate Blitzspear blockade runner, that was made for ST: ship combat system.
Damraska, all I did was to cut and sand blocks of styrene rod, just as I did with the 2ndary hull of the Fed CA. I tried using Milliput, but I couldn't really get to grips with it,so I just stuck with what I knew.
