Spider Rate Control Adjustment Please
While I appreciate why the Spider Rate Control system has been put into effect on the forum, I'm personally finding that it could use some adjustment to be less limiting. I find I'm getting the "slow down" messages almost constantly.

I get that too, from both work and home. I too find it to be no problem in either case, but it's a forum software feature rather than an ISP issue.junior wrote:Occasionally if I edit something immediately after I've posted, I get a message that "Flood Control" has kicked in and I can't repost anything for twenty seconds after I post a message. I would assume that this is what he's referring to.
Overall, I don't find it to be a problem however.

Y'all must be faster typers than me since I've never gotten that. Of course, internet tends to be slow here too.Kang wrote:I get that too, from both work and home. That's what I think too. It's no big dealdjdood wrote:I get the "you're trying to edit your message too soon, wait a few moments and then try again" message all the time, and it's because I am doing exactly that (usually when I catch a spelling error just as I click Submit). It's no big deal and just php doing what it should to try and limit spambots.
