Favourite mini in the ADB line?
What's your favourite ADB mini?
I've only done 11 so far; Squadron Boxes 1 and 2, and a lone Romulan. Of those, the Klingon C7 just blew me away.

So many to choose from:
Favorite to paint: Lyran CA. Large, flat panels just begging for personalization
Favorite Detail-wise: Klingon B-10. Lots of little fiddly-bitz that need to be painted.
Easiest to Paint: Orion Cruisers - Prime with black, trim out the details, clear-coat and play.

Easiest to paint: I agree, Orions (you just can't go wrong).
Favorite: Lyrans, those sharp edges catch the drybrush so nice. Plus they come in such a variety of color schemes from county-to-county
Favorite Detail: any Old series Romulan (mainly the underside birds).

Gary: I got the proto-type Dominator to paint at Origins 04. (check out entry #1 in the Andromedan contest on the legacy site - http://www.starfleetgames.com/discus/me ... 1137269047 - to see how it turned out), but the Dominator is a big, honkin' piece of metal. It's easyily twice the weight of the B10 and almost as big in diameter as the B-10 is long.

I know that this thread is pretty well dead and buried, but I just got here.
Sorry to disappoint you all,but my all time favourite mini is the old 3 piece Federation NCL. Sorry, but I'm just not keen on the new sculpt version at all.
As far as casting goes, the new sculpt is far more durable than the original, but aesthetically,I think the original is far cleaner.
