Here's the ship that got me modeling Starline minis back in '84! What a gorgeous design! Anyway, the base needs finishing:

Gorgeous. Love the subtle shading wash work.

No paint on the aft shuttlebay clamshell doors though?

...particularly the bussard collectors (nacelle caps). How did you pull that effect off with the shading?
