SFU Online Client 4.0.57 has been released.

Some notable changes for the past updates:

1) FC: Internal DAC tables fixed.
2) FC: Change "Admin Shuttle" to Shuttle.
3) FC: Added a "HET" checkbox on the Movement panel.
4) FC: Fixed problem with 5/8 movement cost ships.
5) FC: Added a "Speed Change" Phase.

Note #1: Due to change #5. All players in the same will need to update
to this version of the client for it to work properly.

I'll have to check this out tonight. Thanks. I'm sure I'll be making more HETs and damn the consequences!

I get an error whenever downloading the update. finds it fine though, message is:
error occured while downloading. null

yep.
although have a speed change phase and HET checkbox even though it says version 4.0.56

Sounds like you have a permission problem. Is the program labelled to be run as the Administrator?

Changes:

1) FC: Fixed the "Hit On" button for System box.
2) FC: Changed the default mode to be the Phaser firing and "Standard" for the weapons that have a "Standard" mode available.
3) FC: Changed Plasma-R to R-PLAS, Plasma-S to S-PLAS, Plasma-G to G-PLAS, Plasma-F, F-PLAS
4) FC: Fixed the problem where the state of the weapon is not set to Empty after it is fired.
5) FC: Add support for Plasma Carronade.
6) FC: Fix the problem with the starting status for Plasma weapons.
7) FC: Add support for Pre-Loading Photons
8) FC: Fix the plasma launching to allow you to select the appropriate torps and subtract the amount of power needed to launch
9) FC: Add support for scaled ship definitions in the room.
10) FC: Fixed the "Recover from Discard" button.
