Orion Attack miniatures under way

Post by Scoutdad »

Here's the first of my new round of Orion Pirates. These will be from a different cartel than the previous pirate ships.
New Cartel:
Orion Pirate - top view
Orion Pirate - forward view
This paint scheme is based of of the 67 Camaro I owned in high school - Black on the bottom and yellow on the top with a competition orange and a rally red stripe separating the two main colors.

The original pirate cartel scheme is shown here:
Orion Pirate - 3/4 view
Squadron - 3/4 view
Squadron - side view
Pirate Squadron - top view
and lastly:
Generic Pirates

Not to be too picky, but I am pretty sure the "Light Raider" above is at least a CR, if not a BR. And the "Battle Raider" is definitely a CA (three engines).

I have always like the "flame" paintjob. Nicely done.

Actually, you're right and I knew that when I posted them... D'Oh! I guess I shouldn't have been up at 1:00 a.m. posting photos...

I like the "flaming" paint job also, but it always looked weird having the same paint scheme on both sides of "Hey! That's My Freighter!"

Unfortunately it seems like your geocities bandwidth limits have been hit. :(

Guess your work is just too popular! :D

Love them all! You always do such great work, and I'm humbled by seeing so much of it at once.

Makes me want to get more miniatures...but then I've got so many unfinished already.

You know they say that a miniatures painter won't die as long as he has unpainted miniatures.

At the rate I'm going, I'll still be around when the 24th century is history!

24th century?!?

Well, then! You'll be able to make some really good miniatures because you'll get to see what those puppies *really* look like...

Sandpaper gets the job done, but makes for a lot of friction.

So long as you're done by the 26th Century, which is FC's timeframe as listed in the rulebooks! :D

If a miniatures painter won't die as long as he has unpainted miniatures, then I am going to have a lifespan longer than the characters in Known Space!
