Fully-painted Klingon Fleet for sale

Hi All,

I have decided to go with the 2500 scale miniatures for my Klingon fleet, and have acquired the 35+ ships I wanted. (Except the B10, but I'm patiently waiting.) Given that, my large fully-painted 2400 scale Klingon fleet is now up for sale. The fleet includes:

Two B10 Battleships
One C8/C9 ...

Thanks everyone for weighing in. (And thank you werdegast for the link to Crystalcaste - I'll look into that. I'll also see if I can troll for some decent artwork to put on the dice should I go that route.)

Steve Cole - Though it would be nice to see the dice again, I completely understand where ...

Spacecowboy,

First off, I'm glad you made it through what was, to say the least, an ordeal.

Having something that gives you joy, or at least enjoyment is what makes the journey through life a little easier. (It's what I tell my wife - my hobbies are what let me escape from stress.) If the FC ...

Following up - we picked this up and gave it a trial run. (No Lyrans in 2500, but that's another story...)

I thought this was brilliant! I loved the ease of putting 20, 30, or even 40 points of damage in just a minute without dice rolls. I second the idea of using this a the baseline for FC ...

Looking for SFB dice

Now that I'm getting back into the SFU with federation Commander, I am nostalgic for some of the old SFB dice I used to have waaaayy back in my Volume I/II/III SFB days. (These were the once with a symbol instead of one of the pips - there were different color dice for each faction. Like these ...

Scoutdad,

Thanks - we had already read that, but it doesn't address what happens when two objects which are already in the same hex has one that HETs to a new facing, and no one leaves that hex.

The closest I could extrapolate would be to "pull" the Stingers back to their prior hex to determine ...

Same-Hex Fighters and HET?

Ran into an interesting one in today's game. Klingons vs. Hydrans 450 points. I had a D5 which was going speed zero and had three Stingers that had entered my hex on Impulse 8 of the last turn on the #4 shield. I plotted an HET on impulse one to turn my #1 (fresh) shield to them, and the Stingers ...

Mike,

Thanks for the link. Already looking at some minis, so I will check it out when I order. (Come on Starline 2500 Lyrans!)

Other than the CL, where can I get a copy of this system? I'd like to give it a try.

iPad Ship Cards?

While playing today, I was thinking about how nice it would be to use my e23 ship cards directly on my iPad, instead of printing them out, then marking them. If I could check damage directly on the electronic sheets, then "clear" them after the game, that would be outstanding.

Has anyone thought ...

Northern Nevada FC Players?

All,

I'm one of a small group of three people who have gotten to FC in the past two months. (We're all former SFB players from way back.) It's nice to have the two opponents, but new people would be great to expand the player-base.

Is there anyone in the Carson City / Reno / Gardenerville ...

Scoutdad,

Thanks for the very fast reply! Yes, to clarify the Kzinti FC was in hex 0805 (facing A), and the ISC DD was in hex 0705 (facing E) When the FC made a turn 60 degrees to port into hex 0705 (now facing F) it appears that the DD would have been pushed into hex 0604 - with the DD having the ...

Tractored Ship and Turns

Yesterday, we had an ISC vs. Kzinti battle (400 points, 6th rev. of the rules). During the battle, his Fast Cruiser (FC) successfully tractored my ISC DD. (The available power of the Fast Cruisers are amazing!)

The question came up when the FC tried to turn later on - the question was whether the ...

Drone Launch in same hex as target

Hello - first post here. We're just finishing up the (probably) 5th game of FC, after a LONG break from SFB. Ran into a situation on a Kzinti ship wanting to launch drones at a target ship in the same hex.

The rules state (4F2c), "if a seeking weapon is launched in the same hex as it's target, it ...
