This section contains information on previous ADB-sanctioned Rated Ace tournaments.

HR1 And HR2 HR tournaments 1 and 2 were played almost totally on Compuserve, before the web became popular enough to attract a crowd. Both tournaments are over, both won by Sandy Hemenway.

HR3 The third on-line tournament was the first to invite Internet players into the primarily Compuserve-centric HR series. 32 players began.

HR4 The first web-based tournament, abandoned the previous single-elimination brackets and went for a more Patrol-style setting, allowing us to expand the field to 120+ players.

HR5 This tourney was announced on 20 January 1999. This tournament returned to single-elimination format with 64 players competing for the two Rated Ace cards for the finalists.

HR6 This tourney was announced on 24 May 1999. This is also a 64 player single-elimination tourney with two Rated Ace cards for the finalists.

HR7 This tourney was announced on 25 November 2000. This was a 64 player single-elimination tourney with two Rated Ace cards for the finalists. All first-round winners from this tourney were rolled into SFA's ladder tournament.

SFA Ladder Tournament This is the current home for all ADB-sanctioned Rated Ace tournaments. This is a ladder-based tourney with a Rated Ace card awarded to any player who wins their 5th round game.
