Thanks Djdood I just wish my pictures would come out better.
If anyone has suggestions I am using a Canon Powershot S410 digital elf. |

Hi malleman, try taking photos without the flash in good, natural light. That would take the "shine" off which distorts the colour of your painting slightly.
Your figures still look good but I know what you mean about photography changing the appearance! |

Another thing to try:
With my camera, if I set-it to the "macro" setting and attempt to take photos close-up - they always blur.
The only way to get good close-ups is to use a tripod and the cameras built-in shutter timer. Anything else and the uncontrollable, small movements of your hands will cause blurring. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Hey guys, thanks for the tips! I will try them next time I take pictures.
I was reading the company web log for today on the bbs site and this is what I saw!
1. Somebody asked about new monster minis. We are sending the space boar and death probe to casting now. Reaper has good dragons and Iron Crown has a sun snake.

Malleman - I picked up a Death Probe and 3 of the Space Boars while at Origins. Good job on those. I hope to have them painted in a week or so and will post pics. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Scoutdad,
I am sure you realize this, but the tusk on the space boar were made to where you could curve them up.
Sounds like you got the herd. Did you buy a momma, poppa, and a baby space boar?
Now your Lyrans have something to eat !
Also, please hurry up and paint, because I can't wait to see pics of your finished monitor! Glad to see you had a fun and safe trip. |

I bought so many new ones, that I haven't looked that closely at it, but if that is the case, they will be bent up prior to painting.
Now to decide what colors to paint them... _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

That Space Boar should go quite nicely with the Pre-ISC Five Race ships, when Module Y2 is released! _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

Gary:
Steve had the Y2 counter sheet on display at Origins... you are going to LOVE it!.
The ISC Y2 ship designs are based off of existing miniatures (for Silent Death, I think?) and the counter art is simply the image of those ships reduced and overlayed onto the racial colors.
They are quite possibly the best looking counters ever produced for a SFU product. And since it's SFB - those are only the 1/2-inch counters. There are no mega-hex counters. I can only imagine what those would look like. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro
