Federation Commander

I remember reading about the Borak in my Fed Comm material but I can't find the source. Were they mentioned in a Communique or in another published FC product?

Captain's Log #51 has Borak rules for Fed Comm.

Please let me know how the turret rules work out. Tried to keep them as simple as possible, but they are still fiddly, so I am curious how they work for someone else.
