Federation Commander

I know that ADB has a selection of 1:285 scale vehicles on Shapeways, but I was wondering what people are using to represent the infantry? Are you using the counters or have you found a nice substitute?

I am trying to source some but having no luck.

Not space marine type mini's...

GHQ, Ros Heroics etc
Can get heavy weapons like mortars, AT Launchers etc
Which painted would substitute
Packaged in 50 or 60 soldiers and equipment....
Mount in unit size you need....

I know this is an old topic but I would just use ogre miniatures from Steve Jackson games.

As long as every player knows what is being represented by what, the option is wide open....
