Organising ship cards

Does anyone have any suggestions for good ways to organise the ship cards? I was storing them all in the Klingon Border box but with the purchase of War and Peace I have run out of room. And in any case the box isn't really an efficient way to get at the cards.

I have a long and fairly tall cardboard box that I put them in upright to flip through like a card catalog (yeah, I'm showing my age here). From there, I arrange them alphabetical by fleet (so, starting with Andromedans and ending with WYN Cluster) and sorted within a fleet from lowest point cost to highest.

Plastic Sheet protectors in a 6x8.5 Binders....
Organized by BPV......
Some Empires small enough to put several in the same binder....
Save on sheets by loading back to back...
Have to remove to see Fleet Scale if you put different
ships in the same sheet.....

Basically same as Bolo.
I used 5.5 x 8.5 inch plastic sleeves in an appropriate "half-size" binder. I have about for or five of these binders for the various ship cards.
I wanted to use FRD sleeves that hold two 5.5x8.5 slots in a full-size binder, but I just can't find sleeves like that. So, I adopted the small binders instead.
For the record, I found the binders and sleeves at Staples.

So the sleeves hold two cards or can you get them that hold a single card?

I use double-pocket protectors from
Rabco (their MC50 size), in binders.
They can hold about 5 laminated ship cards, per-pocket and are quite thick and tough (much thicker than the office store kind).
The binders of cards, rules, and map panels, and some craft boxes full of counters go in a big bin that travels with me to games. I also have my miniatures in craft boxes and can bring whichever boxes of minis I think I'll need for the day's play.

Sleeves are just wide enough for a card, though cards may stick out the top a mm or so....
Multiple copies of cards can be put into the sleets....
Or different cards....
Would have to test to see how many it would take to stretch or tear
the ones you get.....

I had the link to the Rabco wrong (copy/pasted from an old post).
The current product listing is
https://rabcoplastics.com/index.php/mc50-1837.html
Unlike in the past, they now do not have a minimum order quantity, so I might be ordering some additional ones for myself (10 years later).

If you get the sleeves djdood mentions that fit into a full-sized binder, you get two cards per sleeve.
If you get the sleeves I and Bolo talked about that fit into a half-sized binder, you get one card per sleeve, as the sleeve is just 5.5 x 8.5, instead of 8.5 x 11.
Note that when I say "one card per sleeve" or "two cards per sleeve", that means how many slots are provided in the sleeve page. You can stuff multiple cards into a single slot. How many will depend on what you are comfortable with.
I can't easily do pretty pictures like djdood did, but here are the
binders and the
plastic sleeves I used. Those are the exact binders. I am not 100% on the sleeves, but they are close enough.
