I just got the new Communique, and was wondering what the Shriek missles on the Juggernaut Destroyer are? Where are the rules for using them located?

I was wondering that myself.

Based on what I remember of the SFB Juggernaut rules, treat them as suicide shuttles (launch one per impulse, no energy cost) with a Speed of 32 and 35 point warhead.

The rules for the Shriek missiles are in a reasonably recent Captain's Log. Since I am at work, I can't look to find out which one. They were included in a one-column article that covered updated rules for the Juggernaut.

Will those rules make a copy of communique for those of us who don't buy Captain's Log?

Nah, you need to buy captain's log. You really should, you know. Full of good stuff for FedComm.

Captain's Log #41, page 42.
Get it. The Shrieks will make its opponent "shriek" for sure.

I will look into Captain's log issues once I get everything else (IE attack products, briefings, boosters).

Eh, why not? It is supporting the Communique ...
Shriek missiles:
- Launch as shuttles at shuttle launch rate.
- Speed 32, do 35 points of damage, take 12 points to destroy.
- Cannot be damaged by ADDs
- Direct-fire weapons get a +2 (4A4) shift to fire on them.
- Take six points of energy to tractor.
They are extremely nasty munitions.
Important tactical advice: Kill them with drones.

Are these based off of the old SFB Qari Scud missiles?
I loved the Qari. Fun race to play.

These are based off the SFB Shriek missiles. It is pretty much a straight port.
I have no idea if the SFB Shriek missiles are based on the Scud missiles, but I doubt it. Then again, what a "super massive missile" looks like is a pretty narrow range, so any "super massive missile" is going to be pretty similar to any other "super massive missile" regardless of which is based on which (if any).
