Ok, now that the last big gathering of Fed Comm Forum Members
CoastCon XXXII has passed, it's time to look ahead to the next big event:
ORIGINS 2009
June 24th - 28th
Columbus, Ohio
and ask, Who's going to be there?
I'm already pre-registered and the hotel room is booked, so I'm a definite.
anyone else planning to attend?
Hmmm

Yes, I will be there! one way or another!
I hope to check out F&E and play some FedCom buy some ADB products and also check out some of GMT's other wargames.
Anyone know what may be a good amount to bring? $300?

Feel free to track me down. I'll be happy to answer any F&E questions... heck, I'm even willing to let you fighta few battle rounds if you want - just to get a feeel for the game.
I'll be playing the Lyrans in the F&E scenario - The Fifth Power. I'm easy to find, I'll be the over-weight, geek in the SFU room rolling lotsa of dice.
How much to bring... doesn't matter. Whatever you bring won't be enough. You'll always find more stuff in the dealer room that you want than you can afford! Not that I've ever spent more on gaming than I meant to...

I'll be there.
Will there be any FedCom demos? I'm still learning the game (as well as looking for players). I've only played one game and that was nearly six months ago...

Yes. there will definitely be demos.
Heck, I'm willing to set up a game on a side table and play FC in-between F&E turns.

I just downloaded the miniatures games events schedule and didn't see any FedComm on there?
Will there be another way to find out when/where games are happening and to sign up if necessary?

Federation Commander and Star FLeet Battles are listed in the board games event schedule as they are primarily Board Games with an option to use miniatures.

Ah, thanks for that!
(I probably just gave away my miniatures bias!)
