Same here.
I wanted to big able to do BIG battles, so I ordered two sets during the KS period... (and Plasmaboy order one - so REALLY BIG battles would be possible).
I too had no clue how big the set would get, so I've got massive amounts of 3D ogres waiting to be played with...
And almost as many minis (from the recent Ogre Mini KS) in route.
Too bad Washington and Tennessee aren't closer. We could have a REALLY REALLY BIG battle.

I'm getting Ogre 6e today sometime, whenever FedEx shows up.
Sadly, I missed the kickstarter.
The counters I referred to were from one of the versions of the pocket edition. Uncut and very thin. I packed it away in storage ages ago and only just got it back out in the last couple of years.

The old "cut them out yourself" counters. Good times.

I was surprised when the counters for Car Wars came pre-cut and pre-separated. Also, like 3-4x as thick as the older ones.
But then I see myself printing up more counters on cardstock because everything's a PDF now.

Got my Ogre 6e. V. pretty although a lot of money for just the one map and a few counters. I mean I can always play pocket edition if I want to do all the GEV stuff and superheavy tanks and mobile howitzers and missile tanks and and and.
I mean I don't feel cheated, it
is very pretty and the assembled ogres and command post are pretty cool. And there are four howitzers on the countersheet so yay.
Speaking of counters, I apparently lost a counter while I was sorting them last night. No easy way to determine what it was - although if the report by my pre-schooler grandniece is correct it was black, 1/2", and had a 2 on it. So I should check the Klingons for missing counters.
This will be a canker in my mind until I figure it out.

I had an incident with my SFB set many years ago when my dog ate a Federation Tug. That still left me with 2, and I was never going to play a game that required 3 tugs, but nevertheless, I still felt incomplete!
PS - I should say my dog ate the tug counter not an actual tug. That would be a bit much even for the most enthusiastic Golden Retriever!

I was actually worried that the lost counter was a Klingon tug.

Too bad.
I've got an unopened Kickstarter copy. Still sealed in the shipping box, along with all the KS goodies.
I'll sell it for what it cost me, plus shipping...

What did it cost you?

Like I am seriously considering taking you up on that offer. Because I don't have enough 3d cybertanks and command posts.

I might be able to do you one better.
I have a Kickstarter edition (opened, but barely played) that a friend wants to give me and he is fine with me re-homing it. Since shipping could be avoided, might be cheaper for all involved (the Kickstarter edition box is BIG and heavy).

That does seem more convenient.
Does it have any of the kickstarter extras?

Don't know yet, but I doubt it will. He's more of a tourist as a gamer and I doubt he did the extra legwork it took to order them.

So basically it has:
A zillion counters (four shrinkwrapped packages of counters)
five maps (one ogre, two GEV, two Shockwave)
plastic trays galore
?

So that's $100 + shipping? For a 28 pound package?
I mean I thought 6e was pretty big but wow.
