Sorry posting a little slow. As always my kittens are alot of work. I have 7 unspent xps. Haven't decided what to spend them on yet. I figure we should see what Muan Kaal does and then see what we can do to get in. Stealing a skimmer sounds pretty tough.

at the guard house, how far away am I from my phasers?
would it be reasonable to sprint for my phaser and quick draw it against the guards and beat it out of there?

any reasonable exits where I could evade quickly?

Without any... distractions... you're unlikely to slip away unnoticed-- much less nab your phasers back....

Warning...

If Marcus gets the snot beat out of him again... if he may not be in good enough condition to bust into Cygnosis.

OTOH... if Captain Jack does nothing... he may be detained so long that he can't participate...!

Either way, the party size is cut in half for the big final scene.... Doh!

(I wasn't planning on this at all. Of course... if anybody but Captain Jack had tried to go see Muankaal, we probably wouldn't have had a problem to begin with.)

(Man, I feel like a mean GM right now...!)

Last time you just assumed MArcus would get the crud beat out of him. Let me play out the distraction and we will see how it turns out :D

first you need to determine if FRed or MArcus recognize the SOS call.

Oh, btw, if the security guys DNA scan Captain Jack, they're gonna get a positive ID for a Star Fleet personal, and depending on their security level, they might get some interesting information.

ie. you might need the other "Captain Jack" character sheet with his Rank on it...

Not sure that fits the situation as I envisioned it...

(But... I'm using the wrong character sheet...? Can you post the correct one here? Then I'll copy it into my reference thread....)

I'm going to stand by to help get people out of jams for now and deliver my beastly beat down if necessary.

Oh. We'll save that gimmick for when you're in a Federation naval vessel's sickbay. ;)

PS Did I misplace your character history, though...?

probably not.
I'm intentionally vague on Captain Jack's history, or lack thereof...
I'll PM you again so you have the sketchy details.

What could possibly go wrong at this point...?
