Very well thought out, methodical, and displaying some expert craftsmanship, as always Will.
And some super attention to detail!
The "beak" on the fast Firehawk really makes the front look like a bird (the phasers being the eyes), which is great considering the design origins!
Can't wait to see this small Romulan "fast" squadron all together.
What "wing" phasers are you speaking of on the FD7?

The ones tucked under the front "points" of the aft-hull. The molded-in ones got covered by greenstuff when I added my usual reinforcing skim-coat of greenstuff over the brass pins for the engines (it blends out all the way to the crease at the middle-third of the hull bottom). It's the same for all my old lead Klingons.
The SaberHawk is nearly done.
I changed my mind on the thickness of the "greenstuff" under the rear hull and Dremel-ed most of it off tonight. This is the third time I've re-done this portion. [sigh].

I also removed excess metal from the new engine and fitted it for pins, in addition to drilling the stand hole.

I went back and looked at the ship card again, and no, it looks like I missed the engine-mount phasers that replaced two of the disruptors.
I'll go back and look at the size of the disruptors to see if they are appropriate for single-mounts and then add a phaser to each engine with a dot of epoxy.
Thanks for the detail-check!
