"Sounds good. I'll just stand in the back, holding the rifle they let me in with, and not say anything unless they have a problem returning it. Then I'll mention something about not telling anyone about me going in with squad weaponry, so don't get all intimidating right off, OK?"

"A drink sounds like a great idea."

"I could go for a drink. Lead the way we can figure our plans ot find the mystery killers during dinner."

Captain Jack leads them to the Grey Banshee.

"Drinks and dinner... Well, I'm a cheap date." He followed along.

(OOC: Right when I read 'Grey Banshee', the grey animal howled at me... Yeah, the cat was lonely.)

At the restaurant, Skexis orders the biggest steak on the menu with a side of chicken. He rotates his pointy ears to eavesdrop on the conversations of the other patrons, listening for something relevant.

(OOC: I'm assuming I got my phaser back. Also, I'm excited that my internet is back up. Yay.)

Marcus orders a meal and an Andorian Brandy. He will sit facing teh door so he can see who comes and goes. He will aslo scan the room for any familiar faces.

"You both have the right idea," he says, ordering a steak and an Andorian brandy. "My tastes are simple- I like the expensive stuff."

Captain Jack scans the room for familiar faces, and orders a steak as well and a Jack-n-coke.

"Jack and Coke. Should have known," he says holding up his glass. "To a life well-lived," he says as he downs his drink.

Skexis is pleased to find they have a fermented milk beverage that's popular with his people.

You all celebrate your recent reaquisition of cold hard cash at the Grey Banshee.

Captain Jack's Klingon pals are absent today.

Skexis appears to have attracted the attention of three female felinoids at a nearby table. They glance at him occasionally and giggle. Or is it snickering?

An inebriated Tellarite [stocky, furry, pig-nosed Federation not-quite-member alien] stumbles into Marcus Kane's chair.

An attractive Cygnan [albino human-like Federation member alien with all-black eyes] has just walked in and seems to be looking for somebody.

Several off-duty Black Nebula security contractors are at the bar watching a grav-ball game. They are really loud and boistrous.

The place is pretty busy.

Skexis goes over to the catwomen table. "Hi ladies. May I join you?"

Marcus says,"Watch it you clusmy oaf!" Then eyes the tellerite.

"Outside," he says, pointing to the door. "You and the Tellerite want to go at it, it ain't gonna ruin my dinner."

He gets up and heads over to the Cygnan. "Hello, you look a bit like you're looking for someone. Perhaps I can help?"
