The updates are just that, updates. Some corrections, some changes, some new stuff.
Who are these imbeciles posting negative reviews? The PDFs and Shapeways are the best things that have happened in my opinion. I remember when I was a young boy (well over 30 years ago) asking my mom (who was an overnight cleaning lady for a big corporation) to make photocopies of all my SSDs because I never knew which ones I would need. Now I can just print the ones I need without keeping multiple large binders in my office.
Seriously, with about 20 SSD books not updated, and an average of one book per year (if that) being updated, it will take 20 years to update them all. There about 10 master starship books to be released (granted, some are small empires) with a release rate of over a year apiece.
How long you plan to keep doing this? The majority of people who will buy these are the grognards like myself who likely won't be playing by then. Hell I might not even by alive by then, take my money now.
