Guys go to the corner of Notacopinsight and Ihaveabadfeeling. Look for the Alley with the burned out street lamp out in front. Don't forget the man only takes cash... usually...

And bring LOTS of cash, preferably in a canvas shopping bag you can then use to carry the decals.

Tony should be back to taking orders tomorrow or Friday.

Mongoose will, in a relatively short time, do "fleet sheets" (each covering some number of ships) but there won't be a choice of ship names. Tony will provide similar decals with your choice of ship names for a slightly higher price (because printing one costs more than printing 500).

Yeah, cuz it's not just the *ahem* cardboard addicts you have to worry about. :P

Hey! I like my cardboard too! Stuff serves me well if I don't have a lot of time or space in which to take my mini's, but give the choice, I'd play with the mini's because for some wierdo psychological reason, it makes the games more fun. As a side note, I've played Fed Comm on a host of different custom maps and hands down, my favorite to use are the ones that ADB makes that come with Klingon and Romulan Borders. You just can't get that kind of flexibility with all the other stuff!

Announcing: Decals for cardboard counters!

Now you can customize your cardboard counters with ship names and other details. We even have decals of "variants" you can put over the ship image, turning a D5 into a D5S!

Don't tempt Tony. The only thing he has more of than lead, is cardboard.

It's pewter... darn it. Not lead.
My insurance adjuster said I have to specify pewter or else the house must be insured as a HazMat storage site and the local emergency responders notified, and the appropriate training classes given, and the neighborhood association must be informed, HazMat placards installed in high visibility places, and so on ad nausuem.

But you know, with the right equipment and enough notice, we could do decal sheets to allow customization of F&E counters.
Of course that would have to be a dry-transfer process. Waterslide decals and cardboard do not a good combination make.

hmmm...

OK guys, here's the latest.

A deal has been worked out and decals will be made avialable.
For the Federaiton units only at first, but in the first quarter of 2012 we should be expanding that to all emipres and adding in decals for the 2400s as well.
It will require a bit of adjustment to the original plan, so there will be a bit of a delay in getting going, but not much.

I have a trip to Mississippi this Saturday, but I'm confident that things will be ready to go no later than Monday 12/19.

Thanks again for you patience and support,
Tony Thomas

Huzzah! Since the Fed ship names are the hardest thing to freehand, I think starting there is a good choice. I know I'll be picking up a set of decals for the new fleet box that should hopefully be shipping soon now.

We're pacing to match availability from Mongoose and ADB. Since the squadron boxes are now shipping and out there, we re-shuffled and will have corresponding decals available and do the fleet boxes equivalent a little later (once those are hitting the streets).

Although I like the idea that you can order your Fleet Box decals from Will and me and have them in hand before you get the minis they go on. 8)

Although that level of demand for the Mongoose minis can only be a good thing.
This many orders this quickly means that ACTA: SF II is a certainty, as is SF III, and SF IV, and the Undiscovered Country. :?

We're trying to forget about Sybok!

Indeed. By reshuffling, I'm talking in terms of weeks, not months. We want folks to be able to have decals for the squadron boxes in very short order after theirs hit their doorstep. Fleet boxes will only be a week or two behind.

Excellent news.

Also, I note you're in Seattle, too! Maybe that means I can get my hands on decals quickly... ;)
