How bout' this:
If you need me to get up to 16 (or as high as possible), then I'll join.
If you get 16 without me, I'll sit this one out.

Fair enough.
If we get 15 and can't find a 16th - we'll draft you.
Thanks,

Well I've never played by email before, but I'm interested in trying, so if you have space for a newbie I'll play.
I like the idea of this format, but if I win any games I'll have to come up with a good excuse for my wife on why I need more ship cards! LOL

Matt (and all the others...)
Sorry for the lack of recent updates on this, but I had to make an emergency trek to Fort Hood last weekend. Between travel [14 hours one way!], dealing with the crisis that precipatated the trip, and then working through several layers of bureacracy, and travel back to TN [another 16 hours]... I've been w/o web access since sunday 10/23.
I originally wanted to start this on 11/1, but now it looks to be delayed a day or two.
Let me put together a list of participants so far and start working on pairings.
Feel free to email (or PM) me with your ship selction at any time after 3:30 p.m. CST 10/31/2010 [That's two minutes from now!

]
and we'll get thie ball rolling...

I'll keep myself out of the line-up and accept additional sign-ups until we hit 16 (or 15 plus me).
If you haven't signed up and are interested, shot out quickly...
If there's anyone in your gaming group that doesn't read the forum and may not know about this event - please let them know...
If you've got friends that play FedComm and might be interested, have then check it out. We only need three more players...

Hmmm...I might be able to play. And if not play, supply some interesting graphics to aid in play. I've been working up a nice large map in Adobe InDesign and some other interesting bits to GM some personal games between two of my buddies.

He really doesn't have the time,. but has offered to be a 16th if we get 15 others.
I'd take any one of them...
Paul... the giant robot
Kang... the other tony
Gary, etc.
If any of you are interested but concerned about time requirements or such, feel free to drop me an email or a PM with questions.

Rick... I think you'd make an excellent 14 to our group.
the pbem system really doesn't take a lot of time at any given point.
A full session will still probably run 1 1/2 to 2 hours, but it's spread over 4 to 6 weeks... 5 or 10 minutes at a time every 2 or 3 days, and always at your convenience - not at someone elses schedule.
That what make it possible for Terry over in Australia to play Gary over in the UK.
You don't get much farther apart distnace wise of time zone wise, but they're managing to fight a squadron battle.
