Some people have asked about creating an Attack product from the Early Years idea.
To do that we would need 200+ people interested. Frankly, I am not seeing that level of Early Years love in FC.

Some companies in the past have asked for pre-orders before putting a product to press. Not sure if that's something ADB would be interested in looking into but might be a solution.

Too hard to administer such a pre-order deal. Wtihout actually collecting money, it's too dangerous with a minimum of 200. With 20, if 2 don't actually buy, it works out as others do. With 200, if 40 or 50 don't buy, it's a mess. Laws don't allow us to hold money for 30 days (but other companies violate that law and laugh).

And some compains, which shall remain nameless here, have taken pre-orders while the product is still in development, and then when production falls through they have to come up with a plan to "make it right".
Fortunately, ADB doesn't play that game. And I for one won't ever play it again, either.

Not trying to tell anyone how to run their business of course. I must be lucky with the P500 stuff though. According to my records I have P'ed 81 games in the last 11 years and I have received every product. Who charges for P500 before the game is about ready to ship? Guess I have never dealt with them.

Our group just played a couple of battles with W and Y ships in FC. Was a new and fun exp.! Plan on doing it again. When the ships have limitations tactics become more important than ever.

I have been burned on pre-orders and have seen enough other companies burnp people on pre-orders that we just won't do it.
Besides, as I said, the banking rules in the US actually make that illegal.
