Those Klingons look good, Iain.

I'm seriously thinking of going with a much more minimalistic paint scheme myself this time around.

Very nicely done. I'm intending to use a similar scheme for mine - hopefully I pull it off as well.

Will +1.

Its nice to finally start seeing our declas popping up on a few more ships.
I was beginnig to think that Bill Stec and I were the only ones actually using them.

And for those who may have missed the photo...
I was running a massive battle at NashCon this past weekend and needed starline 2500 bases for over 60 ships, small frieghters, bases, and planetoids.
Here's what all of the bases looked like when assembled and with base firing arc templates (designed by Bill Stec) applied:

Here's my CLS from Squadron Box #1: Federation. My oCL mini came with a damaged weapon's spire (I don't know what else to call it) and it proved not recoverable. Seems the part was cast with an air bubble right in the middle of the part, and it snapped off during shipment. So, when I made my order with Tenneshington Decals, I got markings for a CLS - intending to make a simple conversion to the oCL. I won't mention how badly cast the sides of the Engineering Hull turned out to be...

Anyway, this is what I came up with! Hope you like - I had a lot of fun with it.

Another nice job, Jim.

Did you end up using the decals for the ship's bottom?

Cool conversion.

I really like what you did with the sensor dishes.
I may steal... err, appropriate... umm, borrow... that idea.

Thanks! Will, yes, I used the decals underneath the hull too - I just ran outta time this afternoon to download the photos. Honey-Dos got in the way...
