Scram boys, it's da Feds...

The Federation fleet that will be taking on the Klingons at next Sundays meeting of Battlegroup London. Decals arrived after what seemed like an interminable wait, and I finally settled upon a look for them that I liked...

Very nicely done.

Please email those photos (and your real name) to

Graphics@StarFleetGames.com

as we are always looking for "Mini of the Month" photos.

Thanks. The decals are from Starfighter Decals.

Very nicely done. Quite an interesting choice of fleet mix too, not the usual TV or Tech Manual ships.

Thanks! As for the fleet mix, I didn't really go into the whys and wherefores of what ship would complement another. They were just the ones I'd finished in time for the meet of BG London next week :?

Ah. I have the same problem. I've been using nothing but 2 BC's, 1 CA, 2 CS's, 2 CL's, 1 DDF, 2 FFB's, 5 FF's, and 2 Pol's, for well over a year now. That is the first batch of Feds I at least finished detail painting on (most still don't have decal work done). I have a *lot* more, but they are all in various stages of assembly, prime, or basecoat only.

I have a similar problem. I've got some of my Feds decaled, but a good number are just painted:

Problem is a good decal job on a Fed takes time, something I'm always short of.

I'm getting faster, but yes, it does indeed take a good chunk of time (and a magnifying glass).

That's only if you don't want to kill your eyes. :)

Hand cramps are my problem mostly. Though I've got an astigmatism now too...

My eyesight was already shot the first time I started messing with these minis (mid-1980's), when I was a teen. Now... I can't see any flaws, so it's all good... 8)
