What New Minis Do You Want?

Post by Steve Cole »

Please, list only the ones YOU seriously want to have available for purchase.

DO NOT list ones you think that somebody else, maybe, somewhere, might want.

DO NOT go through the SFB rulebook looking for missing ships. I can do that myself. What do YOU want to BUY.

Sticking with the Alpha Octant - and its main groups of visitors:

*ISC Peacemaker Battleship
*ISC System Cruiser (the one with the dorsal hull module)
*ISC System Destroyer (the one with the dorsal hull module)
*ISC System Frigate (the one with the dorsal hull module)
*ISC Early/Local Defence Heavy Cruiser (Two-prong)
*ISC Early/Local Defence Light Cruiser (Two-prong)
*ISC Early/Local Defence Tug (Two-prong)
*ISC Early/Local Defence Destroyer (Two-prong)
*ISC Early/Local Defence Frigate (Two-prong)

*Andromedan Devastator Battleship
*Andromedan Satellite Base
*Andromedan Base Station
*Andromedan Battle Station
(The above 3 made out out of SatShip components)
*Andromedan Desecrator (perhaps the exterior of the Andro starbases looked distinct from those bases built in the Alpha Octant?)

*Seltorian 8-bay Hive Ship (and maybe a 4-bay 'Lair Ship'? If cut carefully, one could take 2 of the 6-bay Nest Ships and have enough spare for a HVS and a smaller 4-bay model...)

I'd love a few Iridani ships too, not least since they are handy in being so adventurous, but the above are a bit more likely - I hope.

F-5W and HF-5.
The offer to master them is still on the table, but I'm in no rush to start them if there isn't any interest.

I second the request for a Demonhawk miniature.

I would love to have a mini for the ISC BB, a smaller(4-4.5 inches) Juggernaut mini, and most importantly, a Klingon B-9 mini.

Oh, I forgot to add:

*A new Andromedan medium Satellite Ship

The current mini for the Cobra is already pretty small, so trying to do an even smaller Viper mini might be a problem. (Or not - but I would have thought a smaller mini would be better as a Mobile Weapons Platform.)

So, I'd request that a new SatShip mini be made, which was mid-way in size between the current Python and Cobra minis - then have the new ship be the Cobra, and the current ship re-branded as the Viper.

(That could echo what happened to the original Lyran CW mini - which was re-branded into the DW when the newer CW was made.)

I read on the Legacy board that, someone thought, that ADB might be working with Ninja Magic to do some of the drone and plasma torpedo counters. I know that company already produces something rather similar as generic gaming pieces (and pieces for that company's yet-to-be released game), but I'm not sure if there are plans to do SFU-specific models or what.

For me:

1 - Juggernaut
2 - Plasma torpedoes
3 - Shuttles
4 - VUDAR Minis. At least the Heavy Cruiser.
