Well, that probably isn't going to happen.

Mike, I understand that but if wishes were dreams..... :P

That said, adding one of the two to the Simulator Project in Captain's Log isn't out of the question. I doubt it will be incredibly soon (I figure I need to hit at least one more major ...

I think what the OP is looking for is something like the Britainnans and the Hispanola (with a little bit more history) to be introduced into Federation Commander which is something I would like too. I have been contemplating using my SFB SSD's to try them out in Federation Commander

Personally, I ...

I think David Weber does the Honorverse (which I haven't read).
You are correct sir, Mea Culpas.

As to Archduke's comment about purchasing because of seeing free samples available online...that's what the Communiques are all about. They provide free insights into the game and also offer user-printable ship diagrams.

Actually Mike, I think First Missions fits the mold better. Baen's Free ...

While I understand SVC's postion on PDF's, I can honestly say that I have purchased at least 5 products because I found pirated SFB material. Of the 5 things purchased, only 1 was something I would have purchased anyway.

I have also purchased something like 20+ different novels because I was able ...

Father Taylor,

If they make these changes, does it change the layout for everybody or just those making the changes. I ask because I love discus and hate phpBB because of the inability to see what posts say.

And to add to Scoutdad, my understanding of the license (which could also be way off) is that ADB's license is forever while most modern Paramount Star Trek licenses are for a limited time period.

It seems that everyone agrees that the need pay at the start of the turn should/needs to be kept even with the change. Could someone please explain why? I ask because I don't see the need for it anymore.

If you went Evasive on Impulse 8 under the original rule, you got full benefit of Evasive ...

I think it was a comment Paul Scott made over on the Legacy Board and not even an official Tac Note submission.

If I am not mistaken it was this comment;

Actually, the Rom could do something much worse, and without committing too much plasma. Perform the approach as described above, then the ...

I kind of agree with Shock on this one. It seems to have only changed the dynamics of when the Action/Reaction decision takes place. The original decision point was "Do I fire into the modifer or turn off and wait for a better oppurtunity" The new decision point is "do I fire at a range that I am ...

I attempted to fly a D7D in a duel against a similarly pointed Federation and lost my shirt. I wonder if things would be different with fast drones. It's worth a try. :)

And this is exactly the situation I have been talking about. It is great to say that Speed 32 drones are scenario specific if ...

There was no hue and cry when (4G3a) was published. Now there is this sudden concern and complaint about (4G3b). They are both exactly the same type of rule. (4G3b) did not introduce multiple drone speeds; (4G3a) did. Yet it wasn't a concern until (4G3b).

Like Storyelf I was not aware of the ...

I thought I had.

Let's try it this way. Rule (4G3s) is an enabling rule that can only be used in the special rules of a published scenario. This is similar to Degraded Crew, Suicide Freighters, Retirement, and a couple others I can't think of.

Unless both players agree to use it.

But your ...
