SVC - I understand. One *other* thought - Mech Links *might* work as Photetched Brass parts. I can see though, that they would be tiny and fiddly to work with. I'm used to it from scale model hobbies, but it could be a non-starter.

SVC, I had a thought regarding PFs and PFTs: Would it work to make an accessory sprue or baggie with mech links and sensor dishes, then we could just do a quick add-on to the War Cruiser minis and have our PFTs?

PFs? Awesome. I'm in for (at the least) Klingons, Kzinti, and Roms.

Just as an aside on scale, the the Ertl/Polar Lights "Deep Space 9" station kit is almost the same scale (within a few % ) as the 2500s. Do we really want something that big on the table? I'll be happy with 2400 bases, myself.

When it comes to future 2500 ships, I am not interested in ACTA:SF, at all, I'd love to see some iconic Feds done in 2500, like the CVS/CVB/CVA. I am planning to convert my own GSC and Scout variants of other classes, but I think carriers would be beautiful in this scale.

I would buy multiple FJ-style Destroyers. I can convert one myself to be my Scout.

I just got in my 1st 2500 - the DNG, along with the decals. If the weather holds tomorrow she's ready to prime, and hopefully Konkordium will sail soon.

The campaign outline I'm working up involves the crew of a Federation starship on patrol and exploration missions. It will eventually include an answer as to what happened to the Old Kings and uncovering the most awful plot I can imagine.

I wish I had players ready to go now. It's a lot of fun ...

I just got a copy of PD20M Federation and I must say this book was worth the wait.

I'm getting so much good info and so many ideas reading it. In fact, I got a really kick-butt idea for my campaign from reading about the Old Kings mysteries.

It's going to be epic!

The Romulan Hawks are actually my 2nd favorite for "looks", right after my beloved Federation Starfleet.

The Sparrowhawk and Firehawk in particular are quite beautiful.
