All the windows everywhere always cracks me up in Sci-Fi.

With sensors and optical gear we have even today... it'd make more sense to go submarine style on it for the sake of hull integrity. Perhaps leave one decent window - behind an armored shutter - for the helmsman to use in case of emergency ...

I've already confirmed that I won't run any r20 games, so no worries there.

Although I'm honestly curious why you see r20 as a rival or think that they would divide the player base.

R20 does not require any partnership for games being played on it, all the work and updated material is provided by ...

I already lightly-tested (by myself) the game on Roll20. It works fine. It lacks the automation but that was never a concern. I also don't use Facebook.

SFB/FC Online is a 2 game system that has the same cost as a platform that supports nearly infinite systems. I have been completely unable to get ...

Nice. What's that little cylinder on the bottom? Is that a 3D model of the scan and thus the socket for the stand or is it Something else?

Right on, that's kind of what I was guessing, seemed the most feasible thing :D

I briefly thought it would kind of cool if the phaser turrets could run on tracks, almost like an old school version of those TNG emitter bands/rings -- lol but that's obviously a no-go XD Might have looked neat, though ...

Just me being nitpicky about some phasers.

Regarding the Federation CC (with the phaser refit): where the heck are the 360 degree ph-1 and ph-3's hiding on the engineering hull?

I know where the aft-phasers are, nominally, from various things. But there's those ph-1's back there and the ph-3's get 360 with a refit right? (I assume pre-refit ...

So a hard no then? :(

I hear you, and I'll honor it.

Unfortunately SFBOnline is kind of a service that lacks appeal. There are multiple virtual table top services and programs that are perfectly capable of playing SFB/FC that cost the same or less than SFBOnline and aren't limited to two game ...

The way I have used roll20, is that you take a picture of something you own, like a map from an RPG module you purchased, or an SSD card that you have from whatever pack, then you could upload it into roll20 and put it on the layer you need. Using it in this way, it's the same as playing on a table ...

As I said, since screen shots of SFBOL (no matter how or where you get them) aren't going to give you an SSD that you can use outside of SFBOL, I do not see a problem.

Ah, sorry, I think I've been unclear.

I meant do you have any qualms with playing the game on Roll20.net ? It's a virtual table ...

I was unaware. If he said that's the case, then I'm sure it is. I was making an assumption. I guess the old saying of how you spell assume applies. My bad.

So then would you like me not to play this game on Roll20 with unknown players?

I mentioned above the constraints on roll20, but there's ...

It appears feasible after all.

I guess images can be dropped into the map layer and marked up. So as long as your fleet battle isn't ludicrously large to the point where it leaves not enough hex-map, you could just embed the SSD and trackers and what not directly into the map layer.

From what I ...

Ah damn, I just realized Roll20.net probably wouldn't work. Unless you could somehow post shipcards that were able to be marked up and visible by all - WITHOUT being a pdf - then you'd run the near certainty of some pick-up-game member saving the bloody things and likely distributing them or ...

Is that active, though? Has a nice level of quality, just wondering if it's active.

R20 has a huge audience built in. I'll investigate more deeply on making it work there I guess. I was just hoping someone already had, lol!

Always a good idea to check if someone else has done the work and posted ...

Right on, thank you.

Also, not sure about others' sentiments on the matter, but to me $5 for 10 feels like a steal. I'd happily pay $7.50 or even the the $9.95 of a booster pack (which have less than 10 cards themselves).

It's a pity that DrivethruRPG's 'pay-what-you-want' feature doesn't support ...

That sounds, unpleasant... I hope that when you finally get it done that it's effective.

Hhhm well, since you asked a second time, I guess I'll spit it out, lol. I'm rather fond of the Lyrans, especially in FC, as I much prefer its interpretation of the ESG :).

Regarding scrapping the existing ...
