Federation Commander

Folks I'd love to play this if it's running but I'm completely new to the game. If I can get advice setting up a character (how many skill points etc that you start with, etc) I'm eager to play and would greatly appreciate any help

I saw the side view that had the name on it, and figured I could edit in my name, but I didn't want to do that without asking....

Will I've been searching for a picture of the elusive Federation "Auxiliary Cruiser" that I could hopefully put my name on (with credit to you of course) to go with the certificate I bought. Do you have any images, aside from the "Markie Dog"? I'd appreciate any help.... Thanks
