It is difficult to notice unless you look closely, but the check box for the heat map is grey out and locked on to being checked. There was no where on the 3788 Paladin that the autochecker was complaining about enough to allow the heat map to be unchecked and change to the other view, hence my ...

With the development discussions for the various Shapeways releases taking place on the other board I haven't been posting for the Hydran here lately, but I thought I would share a sight that always makes me relieved as a sculptor for this project.

This is a heatmap from Shapeways' automated ...

You mentioned one of your aims is to expose the players to a variety of systems and empires. For the replacement ships you could consider using ships from empires other than those the players use at the start of the battle.

The evolution of two systems is essentially:

D&D 3.5 --> D20 Modern --> D20M Prime Directive

D&D 3.5 --> Pathfinder --> Starfinder

ADB does generally seem open to exploring ideas that they think will both generate enough revenue to be worth their effort and for which they will be able to allocate ...

The Condor had a competition with the Demonhawk and the Condor was the victor. So, the Condor was made and the Demonhawk wasn't. (Don't remember if there was a theoretical one-off or not. I don't think so.)

Unless something has been published recently that I am unaware of that contradicts me, I ...

My first order of ships from ShapeWay's arrived today. I was curious to see what ShapeWays is capable of printing with the inexpensive White Strong and Flexible material, so I included a 3125 Scale D7B in WSF to compare with a metal Starline 2500 D6 that I had on hand.

The first thing I noticed was ...

I am very interested to see how the miniatures print with the separate turret piece. I have been giving some thought to how a tug miniature can be made for Shapeways with the option of either a cargo pod or battle pod, which has similar challenges to printing the separate turret. My current thought ...

Thank you everyone that made this possible, my first order is in. I look forward seeing how the F5S and the Fed CAR look when printed . As I already have a metal SL2500 D6 and Skyhawk waiting to be painted, I included the D7B and the Skyhawk-L. It should be interesting to paint the Shapeways ...

I have revised where I placed the fighter launch tubes. The three shuttle bay on a Lancer are allowed to transfer shuttles using J1.59, so internal connections between the bays that are large enough to move an admin shuttle exist with in the ship. Where I had previously placed the launch tubes would ...

While reading the discussion about aztekking and panel details, I thought of how some existing SL2500 miniatures like the D5 only detailed a small selection of the possible panels and used them to imply the additional details. ( http://www.starfleetgames.com/Starline%202500%20Klingon.shtml#D5 ) I ...

Some unexpectedly large commitments elsewhere and lack of internet access while travelling interrupted progress the past several days. Some work in progress screenshots of the Lancer class destroyer. It currently has the weapons and launch tubes, however details for both the warp and impulse engines ...

No need at all to be sorry, I am glad you caught my mistake early. It also teaches me a good lesson about the value of having the SSD in front of me instead of relying on memory. I am not going to take offense to anyone pointing out what they believe to be an error (and in this case it definitely ...

The Tribunal crest on the badge block is a nice touch. I rarely play using the Seltorians, but I can see myself buying a small squadron of these. I look forward to seeing the smaller ships.
