A Federation cruiser might outgun a Klingon cruiser might be outmaneuvered by a Romulan ship might not be as tough as a Gorn ship etc. They didn't focus around the idea that a duel between two ships of the ...

From all I hear, 1/2500 is very popular amongst Trek modelers. Having highly accurate, detailed models at that scale would probably generate at least a few sales.

I know I've seen resin 1/2500 kits of some of the ships from Masao Okazaki's "Starfleet Museum" site, for example, sell like hotcakes.

Not sure about the D7, but a Fed CA should be about 4 & 1/3 inches long. (Compare to 3 inches for SL2400/3788 scale and 3.5 for SL2500/3125 scale).

Just got in my test prints of the final design on DD, DDS, CW, and CA, in WSF.

They look GREAT. Will be getting at least one painted and photographed over the next day or so.

Remember this is one of the BIG differences between SFB and FedCmdr.

Hmm, are you looking at the FedCom cards or the SFB SSDs? Sometimes those are subtly different. There may be more to this.

While I work on these -- pics are up over on the Discus board -- I am eyeing my Y-series modules and wondering what sort of interest there might be in the Lyran W-series ships. The Y-series ships are pretty close to identical to the modern ones and would be fairly easy to sculpt, but the W-series ...

IIRC anything can, but weapons other than phasers and anti-drones get a to-hit penalty (small target).

As for plasma, you can fire anything you want at it, but only phasers have any effect.
