I am absolutely in favor of adding more detail to the minis. That said, even if you decide to keep them clean, Gorns would look pretty good in a naturalistic reptile style instead of flat paint. If I paint any, I'm doing that.

Off-topic: The widespread misunderstanding of the critical hit rules (such as Milleneza's, above) show that the critical rules really need to be rewritten for clarity.

Let's not overlook the one-shot kill capability of the overloaded photon. Dismissing the overloaded photon as useless will cost you kills.
