Just an update. Two things:
1) Waiting till after the holidays are over to get back to the game

and

2) Having some trouble with my primary PC. If I cannot get it sorted out by next week, I will have to go with an alternate.

No reply from terryoc. Calling game in favor of Scoutdad.

No replies from either captain. Game called for lack of responsiveness/interest.

I have heard back from both iago and SFU_FEAR. As soon as I determined the status of the other games we will move forward with this match.

OK, everyone.

Sorry for the long, unforeseen break. Between work, family and broken computers, it has not been the greatest six months.

That aside, I am ready to get Frigate Wars back underway. I will be sending updates out to everyone. to see what the interest is in returning to the game.

I agree with what was stated before. All of your information and understanding of the rules it correct. The problem was the Lyran player allowing you to get that close with all ships off of the same shield and with overloaded Photons.

By the way, so it isn't lost, good work on your behalf getting ...

Depends on the battle, but in general I like the Lyran CWL with power, shields and phaser upgrades. If the points are a pinch, I will step down to a DWL.
